Name Canvas Assignment

This assignment was very challenging for me. I did have fun and learned a lot from this assignment. I learned how to adjust my canvas size and to crop pictures together to make them for the letters in my name. I am excited to contiune doing some other assignments like this one in order to make a beautiful scrapbook for my Grandaughter.

I decided to do my Powerpoint on Gordon Parks. I chose Mr. Parks because he depicts real life events. He also takes multicultural pictures that shows the diversity among different cultures. He was also the first African American to work at Life magazine, and the first to write, direct, and score a Hollywood film. Parks was also co-founder of Essence magazine.

Picture without flash of animal

I don't particularly care for real animals so this is a picture of my dog Poochie. I have had her since I was 8 yrs. old. What I did in this particular picture is crop it so that I couls bring her closer to us. Then I adjusted the contrast in the picture, and brightened it a little. Then I adjusted to color temperature, the tint, and the saturation.

Me and my Grandaughter on her first entry day into the World. She was soo sweet back then. Now is another story. Terrible two's. Gotta love her though.

The first picture is actually the adjusted picture. I just couldn't get them to rotate in the correct order.

I adjusted the contrast in these two pictures. I thought it was neat how one night time picture turned into a daytime picture.
